Waynetown, Aug 5 - After a long, distressing illness, death came as a sweet relief to Mrs. H.W. Darnall Friday afternoon about 3:30. She has been in poor health the past two years. Her maiden name was Mary Randolf. She was married to Henry Wallace Darnall almost 50 years ago. He survives her and the fruits of this union were 8 children: Anna, Harry, Mrs. Lottie Zuck, Mrs. Lon Thomas of LaCrosse, Wis; Lota, Elsie, Fred and Claude. There are two grandchildren: Miss Lizzie Darnall and Gordon Zuck. Two of her brothers are living, Harrison Randolf of Covington and Henry of Silverwood. There are two half sisters, Mrs. Isaac Cartwright of Silverwood and Mrs. Hattie Barker of Oklahoma. She would have been 71 years of age at her next birthday. The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baptist Church where her membership was held. The sermon will be by Rev. Joh P. Henson of Blue Rapids, Kansas. All that might be said of a devoted wife and mother may truly be said of her. With the exception of Mrs. Lon Thomas of LaCrouse, Wis, her children are all living here and with the husband were very much concerned about her every want and comfort. - kbz
